Community Partner Activities
Crossroads of America Council partners with several community organizations throughout the year to offer Scout units and families discounted and/or "behind the scenes" experiences at attractions and events. Families are welcome to attend events without their Scouting unit.

2018 Campout with the Indianapolis Indians at Victory Field Friday, May 11, 2018 - 7:15PM Make lasting memories with your Boy/Cub Scout when he spends the night camping on a professional baseball field. Scouts attending will enjoy an Indians vs. Columbus Clippers baseball game, 2018 Scout patch, movie on Victory's Field brand new video board, a snack, and a campout on the perfectly groomed field. Purchase a discounted Knot Hole Kids Club membership with your scout package and your game ticket is free ($4 upgrade to BOX!). This membership includes: - Reserved or Lawn ticket to every Indians home game (based on availability). - Knot Hole Kids Club T-shirt, picked up at Victory Field. - Run the bases after every home Sunday game (weather permitting). IndyCar STEM Day at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway Join BSA and Dale Coyne Racing for an IndyCar STEM experience! All Scouts ages 10 and up, including Webelos, Boy Scouts, STEM Scouts, Venturers, and Explorers, are eligible to participate. One session will be offered Friday, May 11, and 3 Sessions are offered throughout the day, on Saturday, May 12. Each session includes Dale Coyne Racing Garage Tour and Tech Talk, Firestone Tires Racing Facility Tour, INDYCAR Tech Center Tour and Lincoln Electric Eagle Welding Project. The INDYCAR Grand Prix starts at 3:40 pm.Space in each session is limited to 25 total participants including scouts and parents! |

Camp Kikthawenund Fishing Derby Join us at Camp Kikthawenund in Frankton, Indiana on Saturday, May 12 to try your hand at fishing. For Cub Scouts and siblings ages 5-10. Indy 500 Festival Parade - Saturday May 26, 2018 The 2018 IPL 500 Festival Parade will be held on May 26, the eve of the Indianapolis 500. Boy Scouts, Venturers and Explorers only may register to assist with parade seating set-up and tear-down, with an up-close view of the parade in between. All participants must wear their uniform shirt. Participants will receive a 2018 Boy Scout/500 Festival Parade patch. To learn more and sign up click here. |

Camp Belzer 100th Anniversary Event Join us on Saturday, June 30th from 1:00 - 4:00 PM for a great day celebrating Camp Belzer's 100th anniversary. Activities include a rededication at 2:00 PM, camp tours and activities for youth. The Museum will be open and a keepsake item will be provided. Food (hot dogs, chips & juice) will be provided. Cost is $5 per person, $10 for families. No pre-registration needed. Current, past and future staffers, campers and leaders are all invited. |

Merit Badge and Advancement Activities
Throughout the year, Crossroads of America Council will host several merit badge and rank advancement opportunities for Boy Scouts and Cub Scouts. Many of these are offered in conjunction with Community Partners such as Microsoft and the Benjamin Harrison Presidential Site, to name a few. Check back often as new activities will be added frequently.
