Campsite Appraisal
Cub Scout packs conducting overnight camping activities may camp for up to two consecutive nights. Packs must have at least one registered adult leader trained in Basic Adult Leader Outdoor Orientation (BALOO) who oversees the planning and is in attendance for the campout.
This policy also applies to Webelos and Arrow of Light dens, which may conduct den-coordinated campouts. All Cub Scout camping must follow the Guide to Safe Scouting, Youth Protection policies, and council-approved camping location requirements.
Remember, the Council must approve Cub Scout camping sites in advance. Council camps and Indiana State Parks are the only sites appraised and approved for unit Cub Scout camping.
