Scouting for Tomorrow is an in-school character education and life skills program based on the proven Cub Scouting model. Designed for all youth in grades K–5, it equips students with the tools to face life’s challenges and succeed in school and beyond.
Scouting for Tomorrow brings the proven benefits of the Cub Scout program into the classroom—helping students apply what they learn in school to real-life situations. Aligned with 25% of Indiana’s elementary education standards, the program enhances academic learning while building essential life skills.
Delivered by trained part-time staff through 20 engaging lesson plans, Scouting for Tomorrow supports teachers by addressing gaps in character development and social-emotional learning. Students build teamwork, problem-solving skills, respect, responsibility, citizenship, environmental stewardship, anger management, and a strong sense of service.
Launched in Fall 2021, Scouting for Tomorrow continues to grow—reaching more classrooms and empowering more students across central Indiana.
